Linen by Elle was a new business set up by an Adelaide entrepreneur in response to consumer need for sheets to fit electric adjustable beds.
I was engaged to create a cohesive brand plan for Linen by Elle inclusive of fonts, colours and a mood-board.
After consultation with Elle, the target demographic was identified as people over the age of 40, who have a specialist split bed. It was determined that the majority of customers will be females, who appreciate quality and brands that convey luxury, purchasing sheets for themselves and their partners.
The pre-existing logo was a simple text brand mark using Trajan Regular. This font was carried through to be utilised as the heading typeface, utilising uniformity to promote a sense of comfort and simple luxury in the user.
A crisp colour theme of dark grey, cream and white was employed, evoking a fresh feeling from the customer reminiscent of fresh clean linens.
Suggested imagery in the brand guidelines was determined to continue to convey a hotel linen-like feel of luxury.
The Linen by Elle branding is easily maintained and intentionally reminds the target demographic of bedding luxury.
WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Linen by Elle required a website to be designed and developed using Weebly, which is now integrated with the Square payment gateway.
The finished website stays true to the brand, with a classic, luxury feel and is easy to understand for older clients. The e-commerce system is set up to create the least resistance when completing a purchase, including having Afterpay and PayPal as payment options.
I created the website copy from scratch, in consultation with Elle and utilising extensive keyword research.
The new Linen by Elle website will allow the company to develop B2C relationships and facilitate B2C sales.
