LOGO RE-DESIGN
I was engaged by Lamb's Ears & Honey, a popular Adelaide-based food, food production and travel blog, to update the business's logo while maintaining elements from the original that the owner was attached to.
After consultation, it was decided that the ampersand – which was designed to look like dripping honey – from the original logo would be carried through in the re-design.
Working from the imagery evoked by the blog's name I updated the colour scheme and fonts to be more visually engaging.
Utilising a modern font in contrast with the original ampersand creates an eye-catching logo.
Combined with an updated colour scheme using brighter colours the new logo maintains the integrity of the Lamb's Ears & Honey brand while ensuring longevity.

EMAIL MARKETING
To complement the re-designed logo, I updated the email marketing function for the Lamb's Ears & Honey blog.
I moved the list from a dated RSS mailing software to the more user-friendly and attractive Mailchimp platform.
This move included designing a new newsletter template utilising RSS feed coding to automate sending and updating signup links on the Wordpress-hosted Lamb's Ears & Honey website.
The updated email marketing is not only more reliable but has an increased open rate of over 45%.
